Today, I read the Bible and flipped the pages. I ended up reading James and it's like an advice to me.
My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.- James 1:19-20
As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead- James 2:26
Above all, my brothers, do not swear - not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. Let your "Yes" be yes, and your "No", no, or you will be condemned.- James 5:12
...The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.- James 5:16
After reading James, I somehow wanted to read the last supper and I flipped to Matthew, reading the last few chapters and that reminded me about the movie we watched in church. After reading that, I read the first 13 chapters of Matthew and I found the Lord's prayer.
